cattle tracks, laneways and farm access roads

Farm tracks carry stock, utes, tractors, feed trucks and tankers. Once the surface starts holding water or the base softens, gateways and high-traffic sections can break down quickly. Adding more rock may only cover the problem if the formation and drainage underneath are failing.

Why tracks break down

Common causes include a weak or damaged base, poor shape, standing water, blocked or missing drainage, and traffic that is heavier than the track was built for. The repair needs to deal with the cause, not only the surface.

What we do

  • New cattle tracks, dairy laneways and farm access roads

  • Repairs and re-sheeting to existing tracks

  • Formation, shaping and compacted base work

  • Table drains, cut-off drains and culverts where require

  • Gateways, yard approaches and crossings

  • Surface material selected for the intended stock and vehicle traffic

Built for the way your property is used

A laneway used by stock and a tanker has different demands from a light-access track. The expected traffic, access points and drainage all need to be considered when the work is scoped.

Areas we cover

We build and repair cattle tracks and farm access across West Gippsland including Warragul, Drouin, Yarragon, Trafalgar and the Mornington Peninsula.

A new farm access track has been cut into a steep hillside.

We have the machinery and expertise to create safe, long-lasting access tracks on your property in all conditions.

A level, recently gravelled farm access track winds through green farmland and past a small dam.

Don’t put up with slippery, potholed and boggy farm tracks. We repair farm tracks, cattle tracks, laneways and more - ensuring a safer trip for everyone.

  • Rolla Constructions did an amazing job on our driveway access track.

They even took the extra step to spread some mulch in our garden beds. Super quick, fair on price, and a really personalised service. Jake was a pleasure to deal with and a true professional. Highly recommend.
